Air Handling Units 

Price Twa are able to offer the Barkell range of Air Handling Units. Barkell offers high quality Custom Built AHU’s that can be tailored to suit any application and is manufactured to meet customer specific requirements. Applications include: Hospitals, Ministry of Defence, Pharmaceutical, Coastal, Swimming Pools and Leisure Centres, Shopping Centres and many more.

All air conditioning components can be incorporated into the Air Handling Unit and low leakage and high pressure applications can be accommodated. A full controls package is available with our Air Handling Units

Basic AHU Construction

A fully welded galvanised frame work gives a robust unit with excellent life expectancy. Efficient manufacturing operations allow Barkell to compete in both the high specification and more standardised areas of the market. Unit air flow ranges from approximately 0.3m3/sec to 35m3/s (and higher by considered design).

Internal Air Conditioning Components

Barkell include the standard range of air handling components, such as heating, cooling, filtration, heat recovery. As the product is custom designed and built, controls, specialist filtration and other unusual components or arrangements have been and can be, accommodated.

Integral Wiring

Units can include integral trunking and controls items pre mounted at the factory.

Barkell will design and install a comprehensive air handling unit controls system, either for stand alone operation or for linking in to a site BMS. The unit can be fully fitted out at our factory and delivered to site in a single section.

As an alternative to using Barkell’s controls system, we will work with the project controls team to integrate controls panel, distribution boards, invertors, controls items and cabling into the AHU construction.

All required controls items would be supplied free issue to Barkell either for the project controls specialist to wire at our works or we could provide cabling and wire ourselves.
